Introduction
Stichting Preferente Aandelen Arcadis N.V. (the “Foundation”) was established in 1995 in the context of the listing of the Arcadis shares on the Amsterdam stock exchange. At the time the Foundation was called Stichting Preferente Aandelen Heidemij Holding N.V. (in 1997 the name was changed).
Purpose
The objective of the Foundation is to represent the interests of Arcadis N.V. (the “Company”), its affiliated enterprises and its stakeholders. The Foundation tries to achieve its objective among other things by acquiring cumulative preference shares in the Company.
Independence
The Foundation operates independently from the Company. The board members of the Foundation do not have ties with the Company.
